MS CAI to Cobb sri + TIP

As the title suggests, I'm running a Mazdaspeed CAI, and was considering switching to the Cobb sri and add the Cobb TIP.
My first reason is to avoid hydrolock, even though it has a splash guard (is that functional in moderate rain?). My second thought is : will this have more h.p. vs. the MS CAI?
Thanks -

You will not notice an difference in HP. I would go HTP or JBR 3-3.5" full intake. Get an s-ots tune to suit the increase in maf size. You will notice smoother power, and more of it. Best of all make the turbo more efficient.

Well, my main concern is to avoid hydrolocking, and I really don't want to be the one to find out if the splash shield really works. I'm not looking for big power gains, but a few horsepower could not hurt. So I was thinking of a Cobb stock size sri intake (with carb sticker) and a tip.
Thanks for the info! (edit) I have the stock tip - will I gain any hp with a switch to a Cobb tip?

COBB Sri is good but when the mod bug bites it bites hard. Cobb Sri was my first mod but have since upgraded to the biggest intake I can run on the k04. What I'm saying is future proof your purchase. If you know you won't mod much get the Cobb. If there's a chance of getting the mod bug. Get something you won't need to replace later on
