My car might be plotting to fuck my couch again I was fixing an oil leak where i got my turbo oil feed i have a inline oil filter going to a gauge adapter where i have a oil pressure sensor, i was replacing the adapter because it leaked ever since i got it and when i took apart the filter to clean it i found like 3-4 very small shreds of metal they were thin, very thin, and small but did not stick to my magnet. I am not sure what bearings are made from but i thought they would be magnetic. this could be early warning for incoming bearing failure or it could be nothing serious I dont know how to identify. car still runs, i got good oil pressure using 5w-40 T6 Is my shit about to spin a bearing ? @Haltech; |
meh i wouldnt be too concerned about it. it could still be trace amounts of shit from original breakin. Its not totally uncommon. |
