Need ex Mani Stud info Please

I'm talking about the 10 (12?) mani bolts that go into the head. I need to cut two of them for my install, but I have time to just order the right size hex one's if I can get that info.

Thanks!

The threads are M10 x 1.5mm i am pretty sure. if you are going to order studs then you might as well just order them from su and they are the same exact style. I personally think it would be easier to just put bolts in instead of studs for the spots that the stud wont fit.

just cut the star off the stud and they will work perfect

They're the same ones that attach to the manifold->turbo and turbo->downpipe.

10mm (1.5 pitch). ATP sells them...

Thanks a lot guys! I'd rather get some the right size for the steed speed in advance, just to save some time screwing around. Plus, we don't have any tools to cut bolts. I could borrow something from a local buddy, but I figured it would be easier to order them as I still have some time before install day. As soon as I get the right length, I'll order them up. Thanks again!

I was under the impression that there's only 1 stud that needs to be replaced on the manifold?

IDK, but with the top mount set up, two are in the way. One is where the T3 flange is and the other goes directly below it for the EWG flange

like i said before i would advise against cutting the stud esp because your not gona be able to get it out of the head if it ever gets stuck

Show me where to buy a stud like the one above, that's about 1/4" shorter and still has a hex head on it, and I'm all over it. I called this local bolt specialty place that referred me to a metric bolt specialty place in MD, and they were like 'no way.' I even tried McMaster's and came up short. perhaps finding one of a different car that happens to be shorter? IDK.. I'm not looking that hard. If you see something soon let me know!

the way i look at it is the nut will come out or the stud will. then if u need the stud out u can bolt up 2 nuts together and back it out.. There is no problem with cutting the stud, im confident

Yeah, I'm cutting them for sure. I ordered a few OEM ones so I can cut them in advance, and then just swap them out at install to save time. I need two, but I bought three just in case, haha.

a little OT...do you need washers for the manifold? are you using copper lock nuts too?
