Default New clutch

I have a South Bend Clutch Stage 2 clutch kit on order from Real Tuned. It should ship tomorrow and am trying to have it installed before Thanksgiving. My brothers best friend owns his own mechanic shop and will be doing the work for me. He really knows his stuff and I am going to try to be there to help and take pics. He will also be doing my VVT, timing chain swap out at the same time also. I will also be installing all three SURE motor mounts with their track urethane bushings. My car has over 125K miles and I will be cleaning my intake valves for the first time and installing a SURE TIG and TBTIG also. I will take pics of the valves so I can get the dirtiest valves award.

Anyways, I will definitely let you guys know how I like the clutch and motor mounts. I am expecting good things. Pics when parts arrive.

any reason you went with a SBC s2 rather than OEM? 4x the cost. Doesnt hold much more than OEM. I want one, but more than I can afford. Not sure what to do. But I Would be getting an S3 at least.

I was going to get a stage 3 but I'm not heavily modified right now and decided it wasn't worth the extra $100 for an extra 70ftlb of capacity. Considering the stock flywheel costs as much as this kit I thought the price wasn't too bad, I wanted a steel flywheel but didn't want any of the ACT clutches, just wanted to try something different.
This clutch will hold way more than the stock one, I know the stock one could take some power but not for very long.

I will be building a whole new motor this year and will do stage 4 when the time comes.

Here are some pics of the clutch for you guys. I won't have time to get the clutch done before Thanksgiving because of work but will a week or two after. This coming week I will be installing Moog endlinks, SURE sway bar bushing, SURE TIG, a new thermostat, and cleaning my valves with over 127K on the clock. Then the clutch, VVT/Timing chain, and motor mounts will follow shortly.
