| Not Ranked : 0 score I do like the bracket upgrade, OEM does seem cheap, but I do not recall it breaking before. The motor does twist all over (flops like a fish with the stock mount) so yeah. I would not hate on it that much. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score dont get me wrong its deff very solid looking i just hate how they spoof everything up to sound like they really did something special thats all im a hater what can i say and another thing it looks likw they re used thier original rear mount design which means its factory spec size which means the bracket will work swith other brand mounts like the sure mount and mone more think they making hype about vertical mounted bushing the factory one is same direction i fail to see where its actually different other then size |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score the bigger bushing is the plus and the lighter component and even with my TRZ rear mount i wouldnt mind upgrading that bracket up. But my motor STILL rocks with the trz on a bit, this might just be the one i need to get it all downpacked. I have the AWR passenger i just need to stop being lazy and install it. I need to order the trans mount.

| Not Ranked : 0 score They do actually have a point because there really is no need for having two bushings in the RMM it actually does hurt more than helps if you are trying to get things to hook up. The stock mounting bracket has a bushing inside of it which helps dampen things a bit. I just wish they offered a stiffer durometer, I'd imagine I would still get my engine to snap back with only a 75DURO (max) When the tires hook up. Currently with a 95Duro I still get tons of wheel hop. On the other hand by redesigning the setup to where only 1 bushing is present they might have eliminated the the wheel hop issue through design without sacrificing comfort. WOuld be nice to see someone pushing some 400+ numbers test this thing out. I am due for some new MM bushins soon...hmmmmm |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Currently I have the old cp-e rmm (stage 1 i guess?) and its a 60 duro. Never had a problem with it, the bushing isnt torn. I do like cp-e products and I am happy to see more stuff from them. I want to upgrade my current mount because its just too soft, I might give this rmm a try. Thanks cp-e for still supporting the ms3/ms6 even though you have soo many haters

| Not Ranked : 0 score Fuck it. I'm making my own solid aluminum bushings for my sure mount and one to replace the rubber in the stock bracket this weekend.

| Not Ranked : 0 score i'm all for the EPDM bushings, but they have to be sized correctly. i think i see why CPE went this route, because i get the impression that their regular RMM bushing was simply not thick enough to take the stress of being put in the stock location. this is why you saw all those bushings tearing. i have personally seen the death of a 50 duro and 75 duro bushing after roughly a year of use each. i know it's a wearable part, but the way i drive, this just doesn't add up. anyway...i'm glad they went this path, because i can tell that they went the way of their side motor mounts: fuckin massively thick bushings that will NEVER break... |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Anyone ever see a urethane bushing break? Yeah I saw those CPE bushings tear, I think someone also said it may have been because of a bad rubber batch, and they were covered under warranty. Material reminds me too much of stock ones. Visual changes sway people like me lol. Like this shiny stage 2 stuff.

if they had simply turned the standard bushing up 90 degrees, i'd walk away without a second thought, but you can tell by looking at that bushing that its geometry is a lot different from the original design, so i'm definitely curious to see how this design compares against the tried and true orientation. there are only so many ways you can fuck with motor mounts, and bushing geometry will usually make the biggest difference, all things equal. this is why jamie went with the biggest urethane bushing on the market for his mounts. EDIT: it's hard to tell, but they may have just used the same bushing that they use for the side mounts. that's definitely a winning formula, because those bushings are SOLID... | |
