New CPe and Forge

Just installed a CPe CAI and a Forge bpv, I ain't feeling a lot of difference, so I am hoping the "ass dyno" is out of calibration. Maybe the ECU is still adjusting. Used the blue spring with 1 shim. Still waiting on my Magnaflow CBE to arrive. So how long should I give the computer to adjust before I make final judgement?..................

did you reset ecu?

14whp on a car with as much power as the MS3 is not as noticable as 14whp on a car with less power.... the ecu does need to learn but the CPE DP was really the only mod that on its own had a substaintal but dyno gain right off the bat.

The cobb fmic and v103 maps combined were also a good improvement but that is two mods that also need the sri, tbe and bpv to reach full potential.

but dyno effects in order.....

mscai.... eh maybe. cool sounds though.
mscai + dp back exhaust.... eh maybe nicer. sounds even better.
mscai + tbe + standback..... shit eating grin.

the only really noticeable difference ive felt was when i added the dp, and tune/ boost.

dynos showed gains all along though.

When I put in my begi air box I felt a big difference. Boost was up around 2 psi from that.

Cobb sri and race pipe definate noticable butt dyno for me over stock not just sound.

definitely agree. cobb sri was nice, but once I added the test pipe i was loosing traction in 2nd when I wasn't before. test pipe = :) on the butt dyno

i noticed nothing from my Cobb SRI, ETS TMIC. The only thing i really noticed was the DP and the MM.

I definitely felt the difference between stock and Cobb SRI and I had only owned the car about 3 weeks before putting it on. This car is not that powerful to not be able to feel 25 ft-lb of torque to the wheels gain. It definitely breaks the tires loose with more ease than stock.

Best way to feel a mod difference...take the mod off. Generally you will notice the loss of power, more then the gain...especially if you are used to it!

Or drive a stock MS3 around...if you can find one! hehe.
