We have upgraded the car with the usual cold air intake, Magnaflow exhaust, test pipe and COBB access port. Car has had it's share of problems with oil consumption, and usual problems of a car with 111,000 miles but two weeks ago after replacing the turbo to fix the oil consumption, the engine threw a rod so now I find myself replacing the engine. Old engine is out and used, 8,900 mile replacement is almost ready to go in, with the exception of the flywheel which everyone says to only use new flywheel bolts. Mazda doesn't have them in stock so at a standstill till next week when the new bolts come in. Does anyone know the torque specs for these bolts and why can't you reuse the original bolts? Thanks for a great forum.
