OEM clutch, can it handle slicks? I am thinking of getting a set of slicks for my 3MPS, just wondering if the stock clutch will be able to handle it? The car is only a 2000k's old so the clutch is pretty much brand new.I am only just starting out with my mods, so power will not be huge for the time being, but as i am building it up to run at the strip i will end up using them sorned rather than later.. are 15" rims too small to fit over the front brakes? What tyre sizes are you guys running in either 15 or 16". |
16s barely fit so i think 15s are out of the question. With the torque we have and can produce with mods I dont think the stock clutch will hold. Chris was having issues with his clutch and he was only running DR's. I wouldnt suggest slicks unless you are upgrading the clutch or have the money to upgrade the clutch when you fry it. |
lol loosh has proved it wont. |
