Default Oil leak

So for the past couple weeks I've had a very annoying oil leak. It seems to be coming from the right of the pcv or above to the right of the oil filter . In the picture the pcv cover is that black thing to the right and the bottom of the car would be to the left. Crappy picture because of how uncomfortable it is in there. Where could this oil be coming from? Options?

Get a new PCV, a new PCV housing gasket and a new IM to head gasket, pull the IM and the PCV, replace them, and see how things go after that.

i just swapped the PCV and the PCV housing gasket. i checked the IM gasket and it seems fine. the leak seems to come from just above and slightly to the right of the oil filter, around that cylinder shaped thing which i have no clue what it is. it kind of looks like it is shooting up but im not completely sure.

That cylinder shaped thing is the oil filter housing from what you're describing. There are some o-rings and seals there, maybe one let go.

It could be. Replace and see if it helps. The rust is pretty normal i think that part is exposed so it is natural that the lower parts rusts.

So the new gasket didn't really do much. The leak drips down and ends here. Any ideas? Picture is flipped sorry

Maybe that's transmission oil... how does your pivot shaft area looks like? The pivot shaft seal is known to let go after a while.

I can see the oil drop on my dipstick so idk if that would be it.

In this picture you can see the oil is coming from the right of the PCV. It's near the egr tube that goes into the IM.

Another thing you can try is using dye. It is pretty easy to use. You need dye, UV light and yellow safety glasses.

It would definitely help you to pin point the leak. Otherwise, clean the whole area then run the car for a few minutes and try to find the source. Start at the top and work your way down. It is quite hard to help you from the pictures.

Default Similar problem driver side of engine

I think I have a similar problem. The oil seems to be collecting above the transmission at the top as well. I attached some pictures. Even look at the tray ,only collecting the on the driver side .

Glad you read your welcome PM about your first post.
Also that is not the same as OP's. You have this: HOW-TO: shaft pivot seal replaced
