PCV oil backup issue?

So 2 weekends ago, my buddies and I tore the intake side apart to clean my valves and stuff to prep for my BNR install. I noticed before that my intake and IC piping had a bunch of oil in them and was told the PCV probably took a shit. So since everything was off, I went ahead and replaced the PCV. After taking the old one off, we were able to blow/suck on it and it seemed to be functioning properly?? I have an OCC installed as well, so if the pcv seemed to be ok, which I replaced anyways, what the heck would cause a bunch of oil to be in the piping?

In no particular order, the answers are:

Weak PCV system
Boost in the crank case
Blown Turbo seals (especially with an aftermarket DP)

It's pretty typical of these motors.

Well I did have a shit smoking K04, so maybe that was the issue then? The new BNR is installed as of last week so hopefully I wont have oil backing up anymore!

I can attest to this.

When I had my motor apart and my intake mani off there was a crazy amount of oil build up inside of it.
