please help
 

i noticed last night that there was black dots all over two of the bolts on my manifold and some on the block itself . the top bolt in the pics is cross threaded and have not got around to rethreading it but could that some how cause the black dots

i concur on the exhaust leak thing

and now im only hitting 17 psi when i should be hitting 19 it looks like monday and tuesday(my days off) i will have alot of work to do lol

Damn took the words right out of my mouth. Looks like a cold start up rich run soot, then the leak could be sealing it self up after the car gets warm.
