^ i'd say ur right but when the clutch is to the floor you shouldn't grind no matter what...

well i drive a MS6 and i got a short shifter from streetunit and it came with new bushings and no more missed shifts

After the new rear mount and tranny oil the car shifts soo much better, but I still have problems with 2nd too. Clutch to the floor and still it will grind in there, but almost only when it's cold. Like HLR said, it's like something is blocking the gates from opening.

thats true unless the shifter isnt engaging correctly, which I believe is the biggest problem. After shifter bushings and adjustment most never have a problem again which is why I believe the trans really isnt the problem.

I havent changed out the fluid yet, but with just the shifter bushings and open hand shifting I never miss a shift even at the track.

I also believe many having this problem are having these problems when the car is cold. This car MUST we warmed up before driving.

yea, it's definitely when it's cold this happens most often. That's why when it's cold i shift really slowly and that seems to help, now that it's getting to the 30's in the morning i'm going to give it 5min head start to warm up in the driveway. I might get a RMM too just for the heck of it
