question about putting the stock TIP back on.. I'm stocking out before trading my ms3 in (for an ms6) and I remembered as I put the stock TIP back on, I cut the hose going from the valve cover to the TIP when I installed my HTP. To be honest I don't know what it actually is, I think I found out its a breather hose? Kinda hard to research something when you don't know what to call it. Anyways, I'm on kind of a time crunch, and is it absolutely necessary to have it connected to the TIP or can it run if I block it off or just leave it open? I hate to half ass it but the dealership I trade it too will catch it when the inspect it. |
Yes, its a breather from the valve cover to the TIP. You will need that installed. Just get some 1/2" id hose and connect the two together. Sent From a Galaxy, Far Far Away... |
Are you talking about the hose running from the TIP to the boost control solenoid? |
@littleloogy; The valve cover has a 1/2 od but the tip has like an inch od. Did I lose a stock fitting? Quote:

Nevermind, I remembered I cut a new hose and kept the stock one together with the proper fitting. Thanks |
Great! Post up pics of the MS6 when you get it. Sent From a Galaxy, Far Far Away... |
