Is it really worth it?

Okay this is where I'm at. I was stuck between the Cp-e CAI and the COBB SRI. Somebody told me to go SRI. So I was set on Cobb until i started reading about the Cp-e SRI cause another member from Utahmazdas suggested it. But then I started looking at mudflaps and I contacted Rally Armor here in Utah cause that's where I live and they said that they have the COBB SRI in stock. Soo,, my question is? Should I spend the extra $25 and wait a few days to get the Cp-e SRI or go get the Cobb SRI tomorrow and save $25? Anybody's input is Appreciated! :)

save the $25 and get it sooner? how is that not a win?

Thats what I was thinking but when I read about both of them. It seems like the mounting bracket for the COBB SRI is not good. At least thats what everybody else says. and they say the overall design of the Cp-e SRI is better?? But I'm soooo impatiant. I want it NOW!! ha

$25 you saved better be donated

Didn't really rid any of the shit you wrote... nce... first off the cobb mounting bracket isn't shit. Idk who told you that but he's an idiot. I've been a big proponent of the SRI for a long time but after this summer and obsessively watching IAT's and BAT's on the AP has made me consider other options... however... a CAI is a pain in the ass having to worry about hydrolocking in the winter. I think the final decision comes to climate... if you live in the desert where it's 105 for half the year and very little rain fall a CAI is probably worth it. If not, SRI all the way.

save the 25 donate get access to tons of info and help and get a faster car.......no decisions to be made here move along.

Sweeet Thanks for the Input Guys! COBB SRI it is! and I live in Utah soooo quite a bit of snow! and of course... I plan on donating on the 20th of this month! :))

The mounting bracket for the COBB SRI works like a charm as long as you dont fuck it up.

That and the amount of times you will take the damn intake on and off for dealership visits will make the install a piece of cake down the line.

I'll be selling a CAI in a month or two here :D

Cobb SRI or CP-E SRI, can't go wrong either way. Differences in power? probably none. Cobb, however, continues to heavily support the platform.........that is something to consider.

Listen to @chimmike he's pretty gay.

The AP has full fucking support for all COBB parts but when you eventually get it don't just flash an OTS map and leave it.

On top of getting the intake sooner, you get Cobb's customer service. Which is second to none. I haven't DEALT with CP-e, so I'm not talking shit about them at all. But from reading around, for every 1 unsatisfied CP-e customer, it seems like there it's a thousand satisfied Cobb customers.

I fucking hate CP-E. Also... I never feel them.

Thanks for all your input guys! Ha But I did go with the Cobb SRI and while I was down there I picked up some of the Rally Armor UR mudflaps. Installed both in about 2 hours or so and absolutely love them! The intake is soo gnarly! It's a lot louder and the feel is incredible! :)
