Shaking/vibrating when accelerating

Need some help guys...Ive been getting some steering wheel shake and vibrations in clutch pedal when accelerating. I can also feel somewhat in gas pedal....happens at any speed really as long as im moving. I notice it the most at highway speeds...when I touch the gas pedal to accelerate (not hammering on it) my steering wheel will wobble and as soon as I let off the gas and cruise it stops. Ive also been resting my foot on clutch pedal and it duplicates the vibrations in pedal to the wheel wobble. Also today I popped the hood and the engine seems to be shaking more while idling. So far ive had the front end looked at by 2 shops and everything is tight tight. Ive swapped front tires (one was cupped and fixed the wobble i experienced cruising and coming to a stop) and ive done a full alignment. My next step is to inspect my cobb rmm installed beginning of year, and the tmm...passenger has no oil residue so im guessing its good. Then its the axles I have to look at. Anyone else have any suggestions as to where to look? Thx:beerchug:

That would be my guess that it's one of the mounts. Transmission mount sounds the most likely.

Let us know how it goes.

Don't know how old your Cobb RMM is, but you should check that too. You could always have gotten a lemon.

If you haven't gotten new tires, that could still be giving you some problems as well. Cupped or worn tires still don't work right after you get aligned. What caused the cupping?

I did, i put 2 used ones on up front for now to replace the cupped one. I plan on getting new rubber next year...spent alot on the car so far.
When I bought it almost a year ago, the dealer put on the tires from another speed3 he had so it would pass safety...im assuming it was cupped from that car. Or the fact that they are cheap velozzo pos.
I am going to check the rmm also. I am aware that the first cobb rmm bushings were coming out of the mount and guys on here were having issues, but cobb has re-designed the bushing since then. I am going to check regardless.

Quick question....do I have to support the tranny when taking off the battery basket bottom bracket thing? Im guessing those 4 17mm bolts arent holding the mount to the tranny? Just want to get it off so I can get a better look at the mount.

Yes, support the trans when pulling the 17mm nuts and bolt.
