| Why don't you give us some more info instead of getting pissy? Does it happen all the time, every time you drive the car? Have you noticed whether it feels like it's slipping? In other words, if you put your foot in it in a higher gear (say 4th or 5th) do the revs rise sporadically while the car doesn't accelerate during those sporadic rev-bursts? Where does the clutch begin to engage? Do you have to press it down until it's near the floor? Do you only have to barely brush it to find the bite-point? If there's no "dead space" at the top of the clutch pedal's travel, then it may just be poorly adjusted.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Well I feel the clutch engages high but it drives fine . So idk why that smell is there the revs are normal nothing jumping around and if I put my foot down the car moves no lag I'm not tuned no ap stock tune

| My clutch has always engaged "high" as well, but my question wasn't whether it was high, it was whether or not there was any "dead space" at all at the top of the clutch travel.

| When you press the clutch, the "dead space" is the bit of clutch travel before you get to the clutch engagement point.

I've been in this gig for a long time and the only people who have this problem are people who do not operate the car properly. I understand you've been driving manual for years, but that doesn't mean shit when you're explaining this type of problem. You may have to succumb to the fact that you're not as good a driver as you fancied. Happens a lot. |

But it can't be just driving normal this would happen ill check the brakes and check the way I'm letting of the clutch never know probably driver error thanks for the input
