Really good article from MIT. Shows the amount of aeration, which is apparently linear, and affects of engine speed, oil pressure, return lines, and windage trays.

Pages 14-17 show the math and how temp,pressure,engine speed bump the %aeration.

SAE has a "paid" article too.... Wasn't worth it. If someone with a built engine and 7500-8000 RPM redline and a DCR windage tray wants to double check aeration factors, and measurement, might be worth it.

Have to pay for it though.
