Strange driveline noises - need help

Guys, what is this noise:

I can hear it only when the wheel is turned hard left or right. Until a while ago I was able to hear it only when turning left and it was coming from the right side. Now I can hear it when turning right and it comes from the left side too.
Until today I suspected my SU motor mount, but today I've put the stocker back in after I filled it with the CS inserts.

Can't really hear it too clearly but it sounds to me like you probably changed your transmission fluid recently and if you did do that, then it's normal since there's lubrication oil that's needed if you want that particular sound to go away.

Yes, I changed the transmission oil recently. I had the noise before but only when turning left.
But how come now I have the noise all the time? Is it too few oil? What should I do?

Nothing to be concerned about, it's just differential whine, but if it bothers you, go read this:

Cold weather plays a factor as well.

i cant really hear anything over the loud ass turn signal clicking, but i have been having a weird noise for several months now when i turn hard left only, mine sounds like a metal scraping metal noise, its also not constant and comes and goes...its starting to fucking piss me off.

You can hear it from 0:10 till 0:15, and then on the left turn between 0:22 and 0:24, but not that loud as the other one. Mine also sounds like a metal to metal scraping.

Maybe it's time to change the diff? I have almost 50k with this car and I don't brake a lot (rear pads are like 50% worn, the fronts were changed with autoexe street because I needed something better), so when I feel like having fun on less busy roads with tight turns the diff works a lot.
Also, on spirited (not hard) take offs I feel like the left side tends to have more grip or simply pulls harder for a fraction of a second. First I blamed my new coil overs but they are perfectly tuned.

it better not be the differential...do you know how much those things cost? plus labor??? shit

Try changing the fluid with something like Amsoil or Redline and add the slip-lock additive see if that helps.

I ran Royal purple in my car from the 1000 mile mark to 40,000 miles, then i changed it to MT 90 a couple months back

sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I did 2 bottles of lightweight shockproof + 1 bottle of mt85 and it toned it down a bunch.
