Street Unit Stiff Diff

Well after endless reviews of how terrible the Differential Mount is for the MazdSpeed6 I put aside an afternoon and ordered up Street Units newest differential mount. Out of the box this thing is a beauty, the mounts are beefy, the powder coat is gorgeous, and the thickness and design is perfect. Install wasn't as bad as I had assumed, but with the how to here it couldn't be any easier.

One thing I did realize is that when taking out my old mount, even though I did not have any clunking in the rear end, the bushings were torn! So for all those people that don't think they need this replaced... think again. I drove my car soft, and I mean highway smooth for a LONG time, and it is still torn. I recently purchased the Hypertech power programmer and decided to up the mount as well, glad I did....

P.S. The holes for the bolts on the StreetUnit mount were spot on, no complaints at all. (For those who had issues with the earlier model)

Overall it was a great buy and a huge relief knowing I spotted and took care of Mazda's HUGE fault.
