Ticking sound from gearbox

I changed RMM to a CP-e 'stage 2' last Saturday.
Once done, I went out for some 'spirited' driving... just to test it out.

I went full bore through the gears (from standstill) up to 130, remembered I was hungry so I went to the nearest drivethru junkfood place... it was then I heard a ticking sound from the gearbox area (well under there somewhere), disappeared when engaging the clutch, but still there on the first gear when driving away slowly.

It was gone when I got back home though, and I haven't heard it since... did it fix itself???

If I would guess it sounded like a bad sync ring...?

Sounds like gear chatter/gear rollover/whatever you wanna call it. It's normal to hear this sound with a solid motor mount or aftermarket clutch, especially with a lightweight single mass flywheel. The sound is irregular, sometimes it's there and sometimes it's not and sometimes it's louder or quieter. Since you have a solid mount, you feel AND hear more of the engine and tranny vibrations.

Thanks.
I guess it could be gear clatter... see if I can recreate it, I guess it's time for more junkfood.
