Time for a Clutch... please help!

Hey guys, well my clutch is officially toasted and I can barely make it to work everyday. Im looking to put in an upgraded clutch and i what where i want to be with torque specs... BUT I shit my pants when i saw that the only companies who make ms3 clutches are ACT and Spec (to my knowledge atleast). Im thinking im gonna go with the act 6puck race series but I want YOUR opinions on the two clutches... Help me out!

act street disc.... the 6 pucker might grab a lil too quick and hard for daily use.... either one is stiff as balls (pedal) they haz fucken granite feel pressure plate.....

unless u making mad mad power.... the street disc is the better buy...and will last longer.

from what i heard when i researched my buy the spec doesnt get good reviews....

act, street disc...

Im going with fidanza fw, stock clutch. Stockers held out for 85k.

10 nasa sessions, 6 autocrosses, 2+dozen high speed mountain runs, multiple drag/street launches. Dependable right there.

Hate to say it, but it's true. The stocker is the way to go.

looking this package over, its extremely close to the price youd pay for a stock pp/clutch/alignment tool/bearings. Good buy for the stage 1, at least

That was the idea behind it. Especially if someone wants strictly a stock clutch they could get mine which would include an organic disc with a higher metal content that is slightly more aggressive to help grab a bit better than OEM

Do you have anyone doing a write up for a stage 3+? Interested to see how they hold up.

I've had 2 SPEC clutches in my Firebird, the only good experience, was I won the 2004 Fastest Streetcar Shootout at Martin with my second clutch, which actually started giving out in the finals, but held together well enough to get me the win, then home. neither clutch even lasted me an oil change.

I would avoid SPEC if there is another option.

If you look at the date this is before his clutch fail.

That would be awesome! I don't know the screen name for Thomas on here so if you could mention it to him that would be great. I'm sure alot of BT guys on here are going to want a dependable high tq clutch with stock-like feel and grab. Stocker is the shit, but I'd rather find one similiar that lasts 60K - 80K instead of 35K - 40K miles. Mine is already starting to slip a bit (I'm at 35K) and I am getting tuned right now to be pushing +400 tq numbers...my shit won't be grabbing for too much longer, lol.
