Is this transmission mount shot?

I've heard more front end clunking than usual, and suspected the TMM since the mount on the other side had to be replaced recently. I took out the battery and tray to have a look, but expected something more obvious than what I saw. I can see what look like some possible small tears from the top side, but I can't see any torn open surfaces themselves.

Can anyone who has seen a bad TMM comment on these photos? The not dirty black areas are smooth, not rough like a typical torn rubber surface.

Much thanks!

that's what mine looked liked when I pulled it out and replaced it with a JBR 70duro.

You are saying "yes, that is trashed" or "looks normal to me"?

I'm leaning towards shot, probably those tears look worse on the underside.

yeah man I'd replace it. Mine was torn on the underside when i ripped it out.

yeah, it's not dead yet but definitely on it's way out. you can have a new JBR in no time. and feel a difference too.

My shifting was getting pretty rough when my tmm was on its way out.

Are you getting a clunk when on / off throttle?

Stock Rear mount?

If its a clunk over bumps I would look at sway bar bushings or end links.

I get a clunk when it's on its way into 1st/2nd/3rd (as in, when I move the shifter into 1st/2nd/3rd). Does that mean my TMM is shot?

I have stock TMM at 7xxxx miles, CP-E 60 RMM.

Is it hard to shift into those gears? Could be your clutch is not fully disengaging if so.

No, it just clunks/gunks on its way into gear.
