Well I seen alot of Diy on this install But some installs I see with New gasket replacements others I don't.Question of the day is do I need one ? JBR sells it as a kit with caps gasket and brass fitting.I can go to home depot and buy all that except the gasket can someone chime in on this ?

Good enough excuse.

No you don't need a new gasket if your doing coolant bypass, which I assume your talking about.

Also you can get the parts at you local hardware store.

You don't need a new gasket, as Dmurray said, but a thicker gasket like the JBR gasket will help block some additional heat transfer. You can do the coolant bypass with stuff from Home Depot if you don't want to replace gaskets.

When i did coolant bypass, TB gasket, and IM gasket there was a huge difference in temps. I suggest doing all of them.

You dont really need anything. You take the 2 hoses, one is super short like 7" and is connected to a nipple on a hardline, remove it then take the longer one and just connect it directly to the nipple.

Yup I did the same as above. Get rid of the shorter line and just run the longer one to the hard line bypassing the throttle body. Easy and free to do is always good to me.

I just did both tigs and the bypass
BIG diff in bats.
I would suggest doing them all as well.
The coolant bypass comes from JBR with his throttle insulating gasket for $25

$50 or $60 for everything if I remember correctly
