txs without resonators
 

i have the txs tbe and i was curious if anyone has removed the resonators, and if so does it sound more subi esque?

It would sound more rice-esque. The turboxs is loud enough as it is, it would be way too much with no resonators.. I wouldn't do it. You'd have a headache around the clock.

what subies sound like with a proper exhaust manifold:


granted, i love the way subaru's sound, but i love it a lot less now that i've found out it's due to the boxer engine yielding a non-equal-length exhaust mani.

to answer your question, i don't have the txs unit, but madvillain's opinion matches up with what i've read.

yeah i kinda figured without the resonators it'd be waaaaaay too loud, maybe ill try just 1
