im interested in how many more people will start complaining of smoke now that the ap is out... everyone will begin to mod thier cars more and more.

if it were my turbo seals, the exhaust side of the turbo would have oil in it correct? The intercooler lines were dry too when i removed the intercooler.

Well for those who want a general idea of what to look for as far as pcv hose location, here is a pic of where it connects to the manifold. Just get under the car and look straight up the front of the engine. You'll see this hose here connected to the intake manifold. The other end of this short 5~6" hose is the pcv valve.

Here is a pic of my stock turbo before I pulled it off. Oil was all the way from the intake side to the throttle body. You can see the oil leaking out the compressor.

Here is a pic of the turbo off the car. You can see the oil coming out the turbine/exhaust side.

Right now with the GT28 on the car and no cats. I have no smoking coming out the tail pipe. Only a hint of gas smell due to being catless. I have yet to install my OCC. Just looking for a good location to mount it. I'm also wondering if the breather hose from the valve cover to the intake tube is providing alot of oil in the intake/intercooler. I dunno in my case since I think mine is bad turbo seals. We shall see as time goes on. I may install a OCC there as well.

Luckily on mine, the pcv clamp is faced down on the intake. And the clamp is faced to the side on the pcv. So I can totally do the OCC install from under the car instead of taking off the manifold. Of course I'm sure it would be nice to take off the manifold to clean all the shit out. But I just don't have time for that right now. Especially in this 100° heat we are having these past several days.

Haha, I dunno when I can get to it. I'm still trying to decide where to mount the damn OCC. More than likely in the passenger fender area. I'll have to fab up an aluminum bracket or something to mount it up to an unused mounting hole in the chassis. (CPe uses this unused hole on the drivers side to mount up their CAI.) Right now the power steering lines are kinda in the way of the unused hole. So I would have go to Lowes and buy an aluminum strap/plate. Then build a bracket to mount around the ps lines and bolt up the OCC. I will definitely post up some pics when I do the install. But only when it cools down here.

I have the CPe fmic. There is room in the passenger side bumper/wheel well area. You just have to be creative in mounting it there.
