Valve cover gasket

Which rtv should I use for valve cover gasket? I used permatex super black on my probes gaskets and it seemed great. Any suggestions, or will this stuff suffice? Thanks!

I've went front mount so I bought Vht wrinkle black to do the VC with. The super black was extremely strong, almost too strong (on my probe I had to beat the oil pan off it was so glued on, and pry it every which way to the point of damaging my oil pan just to get it off, luckily I had an extra).

Any oil resistant rtv is ok, it isnt under pressure or submerged in oil. Just be sure to apply it as per the instructions because different rtv sealants have different instructions and most people apply them all the same way.

Ok, sounds good. I might not get the super black again because it was literally almsot impossible to get my old oil pan off, and i don't want that to happen to my valve covers. Ill grab some regular permatex black oil resistant rtv!
