vented oil cap for gen 1
 

Looking for a vented oil cap for my 2008.5. I dont want to have to change my valve cover to use the speed performance one, that seems unnecessary. I have read elsewhere on this forum that this one might fit? can anyone confirm or suggest any models out there?

I contacted cfm about this cap, and they told me they do not recommend it for the Gen 1. They actually make sp63's cap, and are working with them to come out with a successful Gen 1 cap. But nothing yet.

Although, I have read on here of a couple ppl using it with success, so I'm a little confused myself.

So whats the issue? it fits but seeps oil? im not sure what else could go wrong with it.

Yes, apparently. Poor design on the baffles inside the valve cover.
