What is this? here is a picture from haltech cobb fmic review. What is line? Over the weekend my tranny mount worked loose a bit and the pipe was rubbing on this steel line and wore about 1/4th of it down. http://img3.imageshack.us/img3/9307/92897191vb3.jpg |
you talking about the egr line? its either that or a fuel line. hard to tell from the angle under the car... thats more towards the manifold than the turbo right? |
I am not a mechanic so... its more towards the intake manifold..? its next to the shifter weight as you can see in the picture and it is a steel line that runs from under the battery box area, over the tranny, and turns right there and starts going infront of the motor by the intake manifold? On the cobb fmic, the throttle body pipe is the closest thing to it. its on the way down after the bpv. |
After reading what an egr actually was, I think its a good chance thats its an egr line. Is this an easy thing to replace? |

If I had to guess id say it goes to the brake fluid near the battery box. I dont think any tranny line would be black and small like this? I am not sure what a tranny line like this would do... |

the slave cylinder line is a small (4mm or so (guess)) black line. |
