What is my car up to?
lately my car has been making a strange whirring sound during accel.. consistant with the engine rpms, clutch in, clutch out, every gear, along with a strange noise in 5th and 6th. thought it was maybe the tensioner, but took the belt off and while there is a little play, nothing serious.
idling has also been odd, as whenever im sitting still it will idle up about 1-200 rpms from normal (900ish) for about 10 seconds then come back down slowly. this is with ac on/off, stereo on/off, prettymuch no different circumstances. signs of a bad fuel pump, and it constantly adjusting trims or something? it still has warranty till september, but if its something simple i can do myself i might as well.
mods are a MS CAI, 2 res delete for powa, i don't think suspension work is the issue here...right? |
