whats the right path? yo just looking for a little advice on what mod is the next way to go and the right way i want to do it in the right order. also dont have a crazy amount of money so cant do them all one big one at a time ha... what i have already for power/ engine mods.... tmw short throw and bushings trz rear mm cobb sri cobb turbo inlet i would like to get a down pipe... cobb ap tunning.. prob would do a BS delete for safety reasons.. what would you say first? if its a full-DP what brand is best? and can it meet up with stock exahust... looking at the corksport, also catted or not? i still wana be able to pass emissions NY is strict with that crap. any help is welcome thanks! |
if i were you, i'd get the AP + midpipe and call it a day. it's probably the most cost effective power upgrade path available. used AP ($500) + midpipe ($100-$150) = $600-$650...not too bad! =d |

1 BSD - cheep and easy, no need to wait. 2 Fuel Pump/internals - cuz the stock one sux. 3 Water Inj. - Keep things cool 4 Ap - Tune the bitch 5 Intercooler - Take your pick 6 DP - Any brand will give you gains, Pick your favorite with cats for emissions 7 Side motor mounts The order you do things is totally up to you. Some things can be done at any time (Side motor mounts). others will say to do other thing first. Personally I would start mixing meth in with the water (50/50) when you put in the DP. |
im not up on the whole water inj thing let but working my way up to it... if i was planning on a fmic u still use water inj? where can i learn more about it? anyone got pics of install or a water injection kit in? |

get a turbosmart bpv, your stock one is probably leaking like a mother by now. downpipe with a highflow cat denso itv22(one step colder) spark plugs then save for a tune |
Re: whats the right path? I would start with researching around the fourms and learning about this car! Then pick what you like most! |
