Fluid in bell housing

1 Attachment(s)
So I think when I did my BSD I had some old oil drip into the bell housing housing. Not sure if it's significant or not. I looked through my shop manual and all the DIY's on how how to change the clutch and I never see anyone mention about draining the fluid out of this part. I know that the tranny has a drain and fill bolt but, I'm not sure if fluid should be in this part of the casing.

See the picture below. I loosened this bolt and fluid came out. Smelt kinda like the MT-90 that is in my transmission. But IDK if that's was it is or what's suppose to be in there. Any help is greatly appreciated.

So from searching around on other forums it seems that the only way mt-90 got into the bell housing is if the seal between the transmission and the bell housing is leaking. And from what i gather and honeatly assumed this isnt good for the clutch.
