Speedy / Speedie TIP installed

OK, first off my 06 MS6 only has a MS CAI and Turbosmart BPV on it. Yesterday, I finally got around to getting some stuff done to it: New NGK plugs, Speedy TIP, and Street Unit boost tubes. So after getting everything put back together, I fired it up and immediately noticed a little gurgle to the exhaust that has never been there before. I checked all the vacuum connections and they seem good. Then this morning on the way into work, I got a slight bouncing idle (maybe from 700-900 RPM that goes away with a quick throttle blip). Lastly, my BPV is now really muted unless the turbo really gets spun up between shifts. So, any ideas on these issues guys? Or is this one of those things that the car will smooth out after the ECU learns the new airflow, etc? I did have the battery disconnected during install. I searched around a bit, but none of the results I saw were similar to my scenario.

And no, I don't have an AP yet but I plan on ordering next. I have a Dashhawk, but I just got it and am still learning all of it's capabilities.

Sounds like a boost leak to me. Make sure those boost tubes are tight and put on correctly your BPV should be more muted from the lack of boost it's getting from the leak IMO.

Sounds logical to me. I'm going to take another look at all the vacuum connections today when I get home.

Also make sure the small vacuum hose is connected to the TIP as well.

Ok I just took it all apart and put it back together. The only thing that was questionable was the tube running from the TIP to the BPV. The stock one was a little short but I think it should have been fine. Anyway, all put together again and I'll see tomorrow morning if it's still going to do the slight bouncing idle.

Took it for a drive to the store and it seems to be a bit smoother, but the BPV is still considerably quieter. I guess it must be due to the fact that the TIP has a different flow pattern than the stocker...? So that would make it sound different.

How does it feel power wise?

Feels pretty quick. I don't know if it's the butt dyno/wishful thinking or if there's an actual improvement. It def doesn't feel any slower than before. It felt pretty good on the way into work this morning.

I have a HKS bov on mine and I barely hear it with the speedie tip and a cpe short intake.
