Default Boost Gauge Flutter

Ok so I've tried 2 mechanical boost gauges now (prosport and stri) and both have needle flutter/vibrate/buzz, whatever you want to call it, when i hit peak boost which is about 19.5-20psi. some say that it could be a leak somewhere causing this or i just need to add a restrictor on the line. i am using 1/8" nylon tube that came with my stri x-line gauge and the problem is still there. anyone have this issue with the mechanical gauges?

looks like this

mines flutters if i stay under vacuum for week or so only because the plastic tubing gets squished together. Try checking your lines for any kinks because the heat messes mine up. I dont have mechanical tho. And i also have a little filter installed on mine that came with the prosport premium, its to keep dust or anything out of the reciever for the psi

My autometer flutters quickly when I hit peak, but only for a second, then it is fine. Mine is nowhere near as bad as the video.

exactly, its like a fuel line filter but its the one skeeter pictured. basically it helps keep pulse waves down, which creates that flutter in gauges. thats not it's main purpose obviously, but it helps.
