Recirculation tube Okay, I've put this off for too long, but I need a replacement, flexible recirculation tube (the tube that runs from the bpv to the TIP). I got the PG intercooler pipes, and we all know the weird angle it has with the bpv. It comes with a 90 degree elbow, but I just don't like how it looks all "jimmy rigged" and shit. So does anyone know of where I could buy a flexible tube to replace this? I tried searching but not much luck other than aftermarket tubes (which I don't think it is flexible enough, and would probably kink with the pg pipes). |
Cant you get the one from streetunit.com their version and cut to shape. I just bought a corksport tube for my hks to tip but I dont have a fmic installed yet.. call street unit up and ask if it will work. |
Street unit can definitely hook you up. |
I have Corksport on order. It's silicone so can def take the bends better than the oem. StreetUnit also saves lives..FYI |
Ritchie I have the pg fmic. Can we test it on my car? If it works, I will be buying one for sure. Nothing I have tested works, including the SU hose. Everything collapses. Not their fault, it's placement of the bpv. |
Silicone Hose I'm not sure the exact size of the stock recirc hose. Look around on this site, they have every silicone piece imaginable. This one is 2 feet long. |
look up samco superflex hoses, these things will bend and flex whichever way you want them to. Way tighter bends than regular silicone and they wont crease or collapse. They are somewhat pricey, but they are right up your alley. |
samco superflex hose is perfect for what I am looking for, but damn that is pricey. Probably will buy it in the near future and post up the results. PS: the recirc tube size is 28 mm or 1 1/8" fyi |
