stock airbox maf screw stripped thread prevention

Hope everyone's having a good holiday.

So anyway, I stripped one of the holes (plastic) for the MAF screws. I don't think it is that serious as the MAF seems secure. If it wasn't secure, I'm guessing I'd get higher STFT's or higher boost levels. Is this correct?

I tried to search for some fix for this stripped hole besides a new MAF housing (stock or aftermarket intake) and came upon some possibilities like jb weld or threaded inserts. Can anyone offer some advice as to whether these holes can be upgraded with a metal insert of some kind? Maybe there isn't enough plastic to put an insert in anyway. Any input is appreciated.

You might be able to tap it and fit a larger screw, IDK if that would work with plastic?

Temporary fix = rubber band!

Plastic threads suck. I'm usually either stripping them or breaking the piece off. Rubber band, ziptie, duct tape. One of those usually works.
