ok maybe torque can be used on a 6, i don't know, but street driving a 3 is worthless to talk about lag below third gear with good tires as you need to manage around it to keep traction.
This is why i say the lag of a mid size turbo upgrade doesn't really matter. my actual gt28 start boosting just above the dangerous point...

I still have the Probe to carry my old sound system during summer. I have it since 1998 and it doesn't really worth to sell it. I run the second klze (first one hydrolocked...) The sound of these engine are wonderfull even if it comes with a limited potential. I was looking to do a V6T but i bought the Speed and find it worthless to go that route...

Update:

Super-cheater K04 works great, and flows ~46lb/min or 4 volts on a 4" htp intake.

I've run into a tuning problem that I can't make heads or tails of.

In high 30lb/min & >3.5 maf volts the car has trouble keeping up and is doing some weird fuel trimming which results higher requested lambda/AFR's(see attached log).

I must be missing something, but I not sure what. I recreated my tune, based off a high load OTS map in versatuner, but still have the issue.

still seeing fueling not meeting targets, not sure why.
I redid the map in a different OTS tune in versatune with 93 for the larges amount of fueling overheard possible.

Not sure whats up- logs show WOT Fuel trimming still, and some random desired AFR's of 1.0/0.99 (car seems to ignore this).

3 logs attached, with tune (zipped due to file extension issues).

Update time - super-cheater can haz 400hp

except I just noticed in logs from about a month ago:
brief/relevant mod list-
SURE Intercooler, Autotechs, 4" htp intake, 3" catless DP

For the sake of the rods and ringlands, the wgdc is going way down now that I've hit my self-imposed target power figure. That massive drop in power after the peak is due to the lean condition.

I still haven't figured out the fueling issue, but I did stumble across this issue in a recent thread revival:

Post-spool lean condition

Most notably, this nearly perfectly describes my problem:
