Default HOW-TO: superskaterxes Honda Washer Tank for MS6

This is from a custom FMIC thread, I just extracted it and fixed the pictures since Photobucket went to shit.

first buy this tank:

76801SR0A02 Windshield Washer Expansion Tank New Honda Civic 95 94 93 92 Auto | eBay

honda part number 76801SR0A02 if u wanna buy it somewhere else.

first i removed the pump it came with and bought a (i think 3/4") barbed cap from home depot/lowes in the plumbing section.

plug the existing hole

then you want to extract the old pump and grommet from the OEM tank.

drill a hole (cant remember what size it was but i wanna say 1.25" (ill check on this) and push stock grommet in

insert pump

cut one of the tabs off the top of the neck to fit better

to mount it i just used a piece of square aluminum and drilled 2 holes in it. i had to smash the bottom end because the stock stud sticking out of the frame wasent long enough.

there's a tab on the side of the tank that matches up perfectly with where i drilled the hole in the aluminum. otherwise everything should be pretty straight forwards. you will need to extend the wires for the stock connector and extend the rubber hose itself to reach the other side of the car. here's final install picts

finally got around to this today, used the same bottle, 76801SR0A02.

the barb you need to plug the hole is 3/4", and the new hole you need to make needs to be 35mm or 1.375"

My FMIC piping goes inside the frame rail, so I was able to mount the same bottle much differently, pics later.

dug out the pics.

i went and got some slotted flat metal from lowe's and cut it down, and bent it up. i mocked it up, and need to go back for a couple nuts and bolts, here it is with zip ties.

if your FMIC piping is inside the frame rail, you can secure this bottle in two places.
