From your mod list, it already looks like you have a better setup than you can get from BC. I mean shit, you even bought rear trailing arms (why?).

Cheaping out now will just send you backwards. Cobb has stiffer rear springs that are barely lower than stock, I think your main problem is running Bilstein HD's instead of sports. The OEM rear springs/bump stop combo actually works very well with proper dampers; the rear end doesn't have very much travel, so it needs to be controlled properly.

Again, you have already done a lot of expensive stuff so what are you looking to gain from chap shit like BC's?

Besides, some people have dyno'd BC rear dampers and they suck. KW or Mazdaspeed have much better solutions, as do Koni and Bilstein. Rear damping is absolutely critical with these cars, but you won't get it right with any BC product, IMO.

EDIT: Was unintentionally responding to both of you guys. The OP doesn't have your setup but I think my reply was valid for both of you. Gusto, I have carried very high loads a lot of miles on the stock spring and bump stop setup, with Koni FSD's, and it has been good with one exception: the rear springs have developed a few mils of sag. I'm looking at a few solutions to lift them, but the spring rate is just fine. What isn't just fine is the amount of preload on the OEM springs - basically, their static length is a bit lacking for hauling stuff. A member here has the same problem and is experimenting with some heater hose wrapped around the lower end of the spring. So far so good. If I were you, I would simple raise the rear ride height a bit since you already have adjustable perches. I would also toss those BC dampers too, ASAP.

Fwiw, cobb doesnt have any suspension pieces for the ms6 so no comparison there. As much as I wanted koni yellows the price wasnt in my budget. The bilsteins have made me happy.

I dont think anyone has bought kw2s yet for the ms6 to my knowledge, its been all h&r, bc, and I kniw of one other runni ng kports. Down here the car is pretty competitive against the other cars here, my limiting factor right now is quality of tires. 3 seconds off from 1st place who runs r compounds, im still on street tires. Thatll change after summer.

The springs I ordered are from an e90 bmw. The bilsteins actually raised my ride height, at the same time the bmw springs are slightly shorter. So im hoping the difference puts me back to where the height was. Well see when they get here.

Sorry guys, I keep forgetting that the MS3 and MS6 sections are all muddled together.

You can order springs for a straight swap from BC Racing, they typically cost $100 for a set of two. Just call the number on their website...

The rear of the ms6 presents some really interesting problems. I'd like to know more about these bmw springs as well.
