Default 60k service?

so i'm going by schedule 2. (09 cx-7)
looking at whats required for 60k, it seems i will only need:

oil and oil filter
spark plugs
tire rotation
air filter
cabin filter

is there anything i'm missing? i have the FL22 coolant, so no flush until 120k

i'll be doing the air filter + cabin filter myself.
the reason i do the oil change there is because it's next to my work so it's easier to just let them do it as i get every 5th oil change free anyways.

+ general inspection of CV boots, brake pad thickness, oil leaks etc. ALL fluid levels AT, BF, PS, coolant etc. In addition, I usually do a charging voltage check.

Two questions:

How often should you rotate tires?

How often should you change spark plugs?

Tires at ~ 7,500 for me. Book on my 07 says spark plugs at 60 K or 75K depending on severe or normal driving.

Yeah the cabin filter how-to is good; be careful not to break the damper when you change it, it's easy to do, but if you know where the damper is, it is not a problem to keep it intact.

Should flush the transmission fluid, at least drain and refill what you can. Do we have a how-to for that?

I'm coming up to 60k myself and will take care of everything myself, except I have a leak on the passenger side of the engine. Would like it to be fixed, but not sure the dealer will want to under warranty. I will maybe talk to them about it...

so i dont see the transmission fluid change interval in schedule 1 or 2.
closest thing i see is

Rear differential oil (AWD) *4*5
Transfer oil (AWD) *5

but i'm not awd, im fwd, and the

* = If the vehicle is operated primarily under any of the following conditions, replace the rear differential oil at
every 45,000 km (28,100 miles).
a) Towing a trailer or using a car-top carrier
b) Driving in dusty, sandy or wet conditions
c) Extended periods of idling or low speed operation
d) Repeated short trips of less than 16 km (10 miles)

so where does it list tranny fluid change for fwd?

i'm currently at 45k miles, am i over? haha

Doesn't list it anywhere I know of, but people have different thoughts about it. Every 30k is a pretty common number. I figure that's what I'm going to do, but I think the first time I drained/refilled 2 or 3 quarts was around 40k. Change it if you want, it's easy. Easier than an oil change, cept for filling slow through the dipstick.

i DO A PLUG DRAIN & REFILE EVERY 25-30,000 MILES. The amount is ~ 3.75 quarts which is almost 1/2 the total fill. I go to the local Toyota dealer for the recomended ATF which is M0bil #3309 which is T-IV. Cost is ~ $5.xx/q last time I checked.

i'm getting it done tomorrow at the dealer, its 169 for the full flush, not a drain and fill.
they said it's recommended every 30k

We did a flush at 30K, then at 70K, a drain and fill. Looking to go get it flushed soon instead, just seems a little wonky at times.

fucking bitch
so i did the service and everything thursday, everything is running perfect
friday my wife goes to work, comes out after her shift and someone sideswiped the car.
from drivers door back to the rear bumper WTF.

you would think they'd stop and reverse out just leaving damage on the door but no, they drove forward all the way thru. it's down to bare metal. pearl white is gonna be a bitch to match.

shes filing a police report today so that security can check if they got anything on camera.

feel like fixing and trading it in on a cx9 now with the 0% financing

Fuck that prick who did it. Hope cam catches the fuck and they get hit and run charges and ass raping in jail.
