Default running at 4-7 psi for a continus hour ?

What do you think of loading a cx7 to 4 to 7 psi for a very long time, let say 1 or 2 hours long on almost continus boost.

I checked water temp and it remain stable and the engine should be made for it but do you think it will wear out a lot faster ?

Wear out...no.
Heat soak the IC, maybe.

As long as the cooling system (intercooler and oil cooler included) can control temps, you should be fine.

heatsoak likey... id be more concerned about the turbo itself. Petro turbos aren't designed to be under constant load like that. Diesels yes, but they run at much lower egts. Usually turbos under constant load start to generate stress/heat cracks around the hot side much more quickly. The only offset is 6-7psi isn't technically a lot of load for these turbos, so for a single time assuming you're turbo is in good shape you should be ok. Just be aware its a hell of a stress test for the turbo.

Got it

But it is the usual stress i'm putting on it, each weekend for the whole summer. It is the reason why i ask...And... because it is my GF car.

If the turbo die, i can find one out for cheap or at worst, i have a spare one from my speed3 (I know it is a bit larger) i remember of reading about that swaping the larger k04 on cx7 stock tune wasn't giving best results?

For heat soak, i can confirm the engine bay get very hot. I always let the turbo cool down few minutes and try to avoid loading it too much after traffic jam...Maybe i could shim the hood to vent it a bit but...she won't like the look

At the end, if something break, i will repair it myself anyway so it isn't that bad. i Begin to know them a bit.
