Update on the Caska Head Unit
 
We it's been over 1 year since I've installed this unit and I'm happy to report everything is still working correctly. No issues to date.

Hey man

Did installing this remove the ability/functionality of the existing cpu? Specifically, the mpg/distance left etc elements?

It basically replaces the buttons used to select those, right?

Gah. Ive read lots of forums of late re these units, shouldve read this back before registering and replying!

Anyone with a pre 2010 CX7 had this done and/or able to answer?
