Stangcobra I'll give you my honest opinion. Personally if I had a gen 1 I wouldn't get these. It makes the car look like a granny ass from behind... the skirts for some reason don't flow too well.

I built an appearance section not to rice out the car or stance shit up. The appearance section was designed for tasteful exterior mods.... keyword, TASTEFUL.

Now the appearance section seems to be a mini jail to contain you fags into this whole stance craze, which btw, makes me fuckin sick to my stomach.

Honestly I really do like going fast. Not around a track but having a quick street car is my top priority. I have hit a plateau in terms of modding this car as I don't want to go further than bolt ons+tune right now. Therefore I am looking for some cheap mods I can do to get the car looking just a little bit more how I want. No disrespect intended by this post because I appreciate all the fast cars on this forum, just not really a direction im looking to go just yet.

Why dont you concentrate on suspension or work on detailing the car. There's plenty to learning, including maintenance on the vehicle. MSF is a avenue of learning.. you should utilize it to its full potential in that regard.

And you can goto autox events locally... USE THE CAR!

Welp for starters, i'm the owner.. so if you don't like it... GTFO. This forum has a reputation for being a legit warehouse for platform information and pioneering. It did not get this reputation by having an onslaught of faggots posting threads about LEDs, Tint, Wings, Stick on hood scoops and fucked up camber stance threads. There's several other mazda forums that welcome that, but MSF isn't one of them. I set the rules, so if you prefer not to follow them move on in life.

I'm probably one of the biggest "ricers" here and if you want an opinion on those skirts, they don't really match the body lines of the car.

The pictures that they (Nextmod) posted look pretty rough fitment wise too. If a body kit / aero pieces look rough on the manufacturer's site, you can imagine when you get yours how rough the fitment could be.


IMO, the rear of the gen1 is one of the nicest looking parts of the car. If I had a gen1, I'd be more interested in getting one of the hoods with a scoop and kill 2 birds with one stone (more aggressive looks and better cooling = win / win).
