Nice job. I knew all it was gonna take is someone launching the shit out of a 6 and a 3076r running over 20psi to do it. That trap is good for 11.4 if you can knock .1 off your 60ft. Looks like the car needs some suspension work, you can see how soft the prokit is when you launch and shift. I think sportlines would definately help you in that area. Again congrats. Im hopiing to duplicate that 11.6 in the near future. Fuck it im gonna turn the boost up and see what happens.

Theres only info on the final time no 60 no 330 or 1/8 so you can't tell how fast he was actually going through the entire thing or how much the car picked up in the back half. Jhimkle had a sick fucking launch in his video this Russian one looked like he was FWD for most of the launch.

I'm not going of that shit only. at least show vids of some other cars that were running that night so we can get an Idea of how fast that track is.

The track looks shitty, and he proved that he ran 11.6 on it..I'll give him the benefit of the doubt since no mazdaspeed has run that time on a shitty track or a downhill track, not even in puerto Rico..will he run slower on a well prepped track, maybe, maybe not. Maybe he'll run faster..he did prove he ran 11.6 on a 1/4 mile, it's not like he posted a video from inside his car during the run.

I just hope he post back to thread and gives exact details of what was done differently..n hope he gets on a better track and run this shit again.

Just noticed that there's a screen on the overpass right in front of the car. On my small screen it looks blank, and then some info comes up when the car passes it (I'm assuming 60ft and RT).
At the end of the run the screen adds more info and then the camera pans to the monitor at the beginnning of the track.
The info looks the same....now I cannot attest to the veracity of the info..

that wasn't stuff flashing on the screen that was the monitors refresh rate being shown. Cameras that record monitors do that. Hence when you see TV commercials where they show stuff on a tv screen inside the commercial it's always digitally added not the actual image.

Running 11.6 @123 in a 3500 pound with driver in an AWD vehicle I don't think your realizing how fast that car would actually be. It's probably blowing away the next fastest Mazdaspeed 6 by almost a second which at that speed looks like 6-7 car lengths

T3 twinscroll spools fast as hell. I've proven that with vid's already. A divided T3 is pretty small so you have some serious velocity headed into the turbine even with a 1.06. My .78 doesn't spool much later than the damn K04 for that matter. He is running the HTA which is supposed to be better too which I passed on. It all seems possible to me from what I've seen and done with my car. I had more interior and less air from altitude and I'm not that far off. He's definitely running at least 27psi from experience.

I actually don't think he came out of the hole as good as others do. From the sound and look it seems like there was wheel spin. Probably 1-200 RPM less on launch would do better. The top end is the most impressive to me though. 123 or 124 or whatever the hell it was is a lot on this car. That's 10mph on me roughly which no math shows me picking up. That seems like 30+psi territory which is possible with 3.5bar map I guess or some other trickery I imagine. Must be Vodka in the tank. Ethanol>methanol? LOL

Suspension would have helped a ton. Think about it. a mid 1.6 60ft would have dropped him to 11.2-11.3 no fucking problem. I bet if he got stiffer suspension and went up 2psi that 10.9-11.1 wouldnt be out of the question. Hats off to you for stepping up the stakes. As soon as i get my car back Im gonna try and duplicate your et. I know my car an do it with the lil 3071r iwg. Just gonna have to run 20-22psi to do it. If you look at my 1/8 mile mph (92) compared to raceroots they are the same. But my 1/4 is 5mph less. I need more boost and to leave it in 4th and run it out.
