| Not Ranked : 0 score Well i am stuck here at work and i have not completely finished my FMIC install and test drive it. My meth probably will not be finish as well. So i will do my best... I have the pipe ran i just need to do a once over and take here for a ride to make sure all the pipes hold. I am only going to try and run 21 psi as i have not had a chance to tune it. i will make some changes at the track so well will see... Good luck to everyone that is shoot for the 11 mark!!! I think we have so viable players going for it!! Also i have the video camera ready!!!!

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Gut the damn interior and put some 16s on that bitch with some 225/50/16 on there. Get the trap up and the added sidewall will aid in 60ft. Plus lose about 10lbs per corner in weight. Thats like 200-300lbs dead weight from the car. Rotational weight adds up real quick at the big end and the lighter the wheel the easier the 60ft will be. Just my experience.

The advan i have on there are 18lb wheels and the tires are 21 lbs so i think i have a pretty lightweight combo there!!! also with the 19 wheels it should help a little with the gearing for the top end. I also have my brembo with the lighter rotors.. I am not sure of how many changes i will do as i have not driven this set up yet... YEAAAAAAA i can go home now!!!!!! Just getting off work on the way home for another 1am install night!!!

| Not Ranked : 0 score well i had a couple of backouts at the last minutes so it will just be me and dadsracecar( jason) with his 335IX runniung tomorrow. I will try to represent as much as possible for the speed6's out there. Going to bring home the goal or the 11's. While i am doing that 311 will be holding it down for the speed3's.. Just got finished doing a once over of the car and going to wait til tomorrow to take her for her first ride since november. This is going to be interesting to say the least.. good luck driver but my sig will say it all!! Cameras charging as i speak.....

| Not Ranked : 0 score FAIL.....not a good day best was a 12.4@110 with a 1.72 60ft with 17 psi. Only made 4 passes before i broke.... good luck driver311 take home the crown...more info on my day later ok well i finish my intercooler set up about 10am friday morning after spending the last 3 days fabbing it. I wasnt able to install my 3 bar nor finish my meth install. So i get to the track about 12:30. After doing a couple of DH logs (will post later) of 3rd and 4th gear on the way to the track. The car was running really rich 10.9-11.1 and i was getting about 19-20 psi. i didnt have my laptop to make change so i had to wait til i caught up with him before i could do some tuning. So i make my first pass...... FAIL FAIL FAIL i bogged badly and did a 14.0@109 with a 2.1 60ft Second pass FAIL FAIL FAIL...... i bogged again badly and did a 2.0 60 ft with a 13.4@109 at this time i getting really pissed so i caught up with him and after viewing the logs of my runs i was only running 17-18 psi and my timing was about 10-11 degrees!!! So we tuned the car for were i was and was going to turn the boost up after i got my bogging under control. I go out and make my next pass and i get a 1.72 60ft with a 12.4@110!!!! I spun all for tires and the car cocked to the side and shot out like a rocket and i also believe i caught 2nd on that pass as well!! So i am feeling really good so i run right back up there and try and run it again so that i can work on turning the boost up and then FAIL FAIL FAIL. while waiting for the guy to lay some fresh vht down i had to turn off my car thus forgetting to turn the traction control back off when i was ready to run. So you guys know what i did right.... CAR FELL ON ITS FACE AFTER LAUNCHING IT fail fail fail!!! My last one for the day was a huge FAIL FAIL FAIL.... i figure that my bogging was from me dumping the clutch to hard so i was going to slip it out and BOOOOM my rear diff mount snapped in half!!! GAME OVER..... The only thing i see that was good out of this was i was able to do my best time with 2 psi less boost... getting ready to order my new rear mount and going to finish my meth install and next i will be getting it tuned and upping the boost to 25 before i go back... GOOD LUCK DRIVER311... heres the vid of my 12.4 pass

It is also time to get on the dyno as I still don't know what my real hp is.. I am starting to think this was why my car was bogging so much. This started back the last time I went to the track last year I started bogging off the line on my last 2 pass as seen in the video... Will find out once I get the new one installed

Last time out at MIR I run 12.6x at 114 no meth and 12.1x at 118 with meth on 19" all seasons in the high 1.8x to low 1.9x 60fts. Only mods were intake and tune (and meth depending on the runs). FMIC is going back on next week most likely.

| Not Ranked : 0 score would me running a mid-low 12 in an evo really be that exciting or surprising? but back on topic Charles what were your 330 and 1/8 times/traps. Not sure how much more you'll gain with out changing some variable be it weight, tune something. 1.7 in that tank of yours should be about as hard as you wanna push things with out risking breaking more drive train parts. Also be blessed your spinning once things get warmer your times will drop, and more of a chance of popping a rear axle. Sorry to sound negative but its truth if your going to make some magic happen it has to be now-march or wait till october
