Fastest MS3 in Alaska 1/4 mile
 

Its been a couple years that no one has beat the 13 second 1/4 mile in alaska for mazdaspeed 3, well that all changed. Not done yet still shooting for 11's hopefully. oh yea for mods...

Yup, I have 3 more times to try to get into 11's before winter hits, and in all honesty I would be happy if I hit low 12's as well.

2.4 60 ft and stil a good time, Slick that bitch up to get the 60ft times down to sub 2.0, usually in drag racing every 10th you reduce in 60ft = 2 tenths in the over all time..you are more than capable of 11 secs

That has nothing to do with being racist. I have caimed nothing false and have posted many videos on facebook (fagbook for some of you) with all my runs and continue success with the car. There are more than 3 ms3 in alaska, I just been the one to hit the track more often to lay down times while others choose not to. And for the motors popping, well as explained before, I had to pay for the mistakes other people made. I was only the driver and had a lack of experience with working on car period. Now that freek tune and the shop I go to, only work on the car, the car has been improving since then. The flaming I can deal with, but the continue racist comments, no one should have to deal with.

I don't understand how you can attribute anything remotely close to success to yourself. You ran a k04 time on an easily mid11 second car. So you didn't build it. You didn't tune it. All you did was drive it (mediocrely). Don't pull the race card. It's the internet. Buckle up it's a rough ride.

The racist card is pointing to only Tokay, since it has not been the first time he has done it, even on a thread I didn't create. And of course I don't build cars, nor do I have a desire to tune any as well. I just drive it and see how far it can go. If you didn't know the car is still sitting on alot of OEM parts. Getting the car this far has been a shocker to alot of people. Coming from a 14.9 @98mph in the begining of the year to a 12.8 is something I am persoanlly happy about knowing the car has a lot more potential. The internet is nothing new, but dealing with Tokay and his crap is getting old.

It was not a race car. It was a mildly modded and gutted Pu on slicks. It was a bad ass driver that actually deserves to be praised for his driving.

As far as the situation at hand, I do think MSF can be quick to rip members at times. In this particular instance, Alaskazero blew two motors before he took anyone's advice on here, and really all anyone is trying to tell him is that he needs more track time and practice and shouldn't be bragging about a stupid title like "fastest car in *insert whatever city/state you want*" when the car is capable of so much more. Rather than brag that the car covered for your short comings by making up time down the track, you should be scrutinizing yourself. And this is coming from a guy that admittedly has very little track time on a strip. If/when I start drag racing though, I promise you I'll be my own biggest critic.

My Speed was my daily, until I got my Grom recently.

Pulled seats for track use, swapped out wheels, and aired up the spring bags, other wise, stock suspension.

Justin and the shop that built my motor where on the same page expect a little debate about headstuds, at the end of the day the shop agreed, and justin knows this, that if any head lift issue occurs they will replace them. My car is sitting on alot of OEM parts just forged internals and a big turbo and parts that need to go with them. I still have stock suspension, clutch, intake manifold, stock exhaust, I mean my car is still restricted as hell. But for the only shop that decided to help and justin to be the only tuner that understood my issue the car has gone a long way. And as mentioned before, there's still more parts to come. I straight up do not like the way you approach me, you take me as a joke but, I'm not the one tuning every car in alaska making them go ZZB. Im not bragging about being fast and not taking my car to the track. I daily drive my car, I take it to the track and I have beaten multiple evos, sti, and the fastest camaro (ran an 11.6) and have it all on video. Why be so damn racist toward me? Flame me for my mistakes I made in the past but, don't become a rasict jerk toward me.

12.9 is slower than 11.6.... How'd you "beat him"?

3rd gear roll 40mph, decided to just say fuck it and race till we top out. 6th gear my ms3 pulled, but other than that the race was neck and neck. Posted it on facbeook mutliple times

with literally double the stock power and drag slicks you were able to knock a whole 1.16 seconds off of a stock time.

Fastest ms3 record time in alaska for over 2 years was a flat 13.0 @105, there where still other big turbo mazdas and K04 before me that could've easily went to the track and try to beat it. But nope they all rather claim to be fast on the streets and not on the track as well.

Fuck I haven't been on msf in months. I won't lie. I beat John but his car was a lot slower then. I'm 100% sure his car is faster and would beat mine. Especially considering a rod went airborne through my block lol. Hell I'm not even in Alaska anymore. I'm in Texas.
