Lol. Just didn't see it embedded and missed it! |

I checked out your logs, them BATs son! You need FMIC and Meth, then I think you'll get quite a bit deeper into the 11s. |
Congrats man! On to the next goal. Keep pushin it |

Bags work, plain and simple. Hell, even some Mustang guys use a bag on the passenger side to keep the body roll to a minimum when launching. Steeda Mustang Drag Spring Air Bag Kit (79-04) 39640947 - LatemodelRestoration.com I've also heard of guys running solid dummy shocks in the rear on FWD setups, and of course, we've all probably seen the FWD wheelie bars. |

Horry Sheet!!! That was awesome. Congrats! Dave (aka: SnailD), think it's time for a tune man. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
incredible thread! I had no idea a lil ko4 could do such things.. hell I'm still trying to get into the 12's (or equal to that in the 1/8thmile) and have a decent list of mods on my ms6. this thread is also starting to make me regret going from my old BAG 'O' Ice on the stock TMIC setup at the dragstrip to my current FMIC setup. I cant seem to get the bats down like I used to and power levels are suffering big time... |
AWESOME runs bro. Congrats! Crazy to think a stock turbo MS3 with some weight reduction is in the 11s. I will scroll through your thread(s) to find out how much weight you actually took out. I haven't clicked on the link, but are those bags universal? I'm looking to go 12.xx all motor in my Accord this fall and I'm sure these would help. Congrats again. |

Thanks man, I'll feel a LOT better once I've made a few more 11 sec passes, it's just a glory run car as of now. It's more of a solid 12-12.2 car, hoping to get back to a decent track here soon to back up that pass. They have those bags in all kinds of different sizes. http://www.airliftcompany.com/produc...air-lift-1000/ |

Guess what you're asking is if I'm dialed back in 1&2nd? I'm at full power in all gears. |
ive always had boost comp at 60% in 1st and 2nd. i sappose with slicks and/or a lighter car turning it up to 100% would be a good idea. anyone else want to chime in? |
Quote:
Really depends on the driver and track conditions. |
Quote:
I don't mess with boost compensation because you need that power in 2nd gear. Buying some track wheels this friday and soon tires for it.. My dream is to be a bad ass like you!!!:D |
Quote:
Haha, sticky tires and awesome track prep are the main ingredients to being a bad ass at the track. When I was on street tires I would run 33% 1st and 66% 2nd, I got those from @fortressofcomfort; (r.i.p) in one of his lengthy post, that seemed to be a sweet spot for street use. |
I'm still wondering why someone hasn't offered @MZRSPEED; a sponsorship. |
Well I made it out to the strip this weekend and track prep sucked but that's beside the point. I would definitely dial back 1st and 2nd. I spun both clean through even with drag radials at 14 PSI. It seemed like I launched fairly well, but then once I built boost it would just spin. Gunna be going out again in a couple weeks, so I'll mess with APP tables for that. Hopefully I can get some info that helps a bit after that @Ireland; |

What drag radial? |

245/45/17 Nitto 555r. I didn't heat them up, which was a huge mistake. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Just a suggestion, but I wouldn't run them that low, they are still a radial, sidewalls aren't soft.. I was running about 22psi in mine, which were 245/50/16, so I even had a little more sidewall than you. I could ffs into 2nd at the track and only get a slight chirp. |

Thanks for the tip. Will inflate them a little more next time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
The best way i have found to lower my BATs real quick is to remove the intercooler (takes 6 minutes lol) and hose it down/spray bottle. Preferably with ice cold water if you can bring a cooler with you. |
Never even realized you were from Jacksonville. Good shit on the runs, looks like it was in Orlando. |
Quote:
Yeah, Orlando has killer track prep, it's def worth the 2 hour one way drive. Gville is hit or miss, which is unfortunate since it's only 45 min away. |
Quote:
My first and only run with an intake only yielded me a 13.8 @ 103 at Gainesville..I got lucky since they had a break on the previous run so it was a fresh prep and an hour cool down time. |
TMIC can certainly be a show stopper when idling etc before getting to the line with heatsoak building waiting for noobs that had no idea how to stage. God bless the AP to log this stuff, they revert to high BAT settings and richen to 10.8 - 11 AFRs and pulled around 4 degrees of timing on mine, fucking meth couldn't even get shit down in time. @MZRSPEED be interesting what you would do with meth and FMIC..having BT built engines looking over their shoulder with your lil old k04 |

Yeah I had BATs in the 120s at WOT with a 5gph and top mount. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
