have a few more mods now, went 13.0 last time.
now have bsd, forge bpv. and a gopro. plus running 22lbs boost instead of 18.

Good luck with it, I am waiting for cooler weather then it's on. I could have had it last week but failed at launch! Racking in 2.0 60' and looking at my time slips I nailed a 1.59 60' and fubar'd 3rd gear. oh well! Good luck!

Welllllllllllllll, i went 2.5mph faster but only got 13.11 @ 112.21 2.6 60' cold track
loooong lines.

even after a 15 second burnout pulling the car out of the water i still spun all 1st &1/2 2nd. could only get 3 runs in and one i forgot to turn off dsc.

i just wasted a night at the track.

i'll have to check the camera to see if i recorded a crappy run on the gopro.

i'll have to go back to limiting power more in 1st and 2nd.

i also never hit over 19lbs boost even though it was set to 22,??? need bnr and slicks

mxlplx71 you may want to get an upgraded wg to run the higher boost. That is what I had to do. Don't know if you want it right away, but I will be selling mine here in the next 2 to 3 months (as soon as I get my 11 sec k04 pass and put in the precision 5857).

i just dont get why i can run 21 on the treet but cant get over 19 at the track.i also found an e30 and e85 pump 2 miles from my house today,,,hmmm.

hmmm...so you drive down the street and can hit 21 and only hit 19 @ the track? e85 is mighty tastey.

how did this work out? u dont hear too much about it and well utah fucking sucks for boost with altitude

With stock wg I couldn't even hld 16 psi up top, after the upgraded wg I could hold 20 @ rl no problem

turned it on when my lanes started to move and it took 6 pictures, both runs. fml.
wrong setting. ive used it on the street just fine,
have to triple check after i mount it.
error on my part.

There is a couple reasons for this. One being the heat at the track. I've seen some cars Peg the WG Duty Ramp Limiter and the ECU can longer add any more WGDC and they still have not hit their boost target (or load target). There are ways to combat this if you are really concerned.

You can either set a higher WGDC for the track. Set the WG Ramp Limiter High's to something higher. 10% is the factory and OTS max amount for boost error. 15% or 20% might get you what you need. Typically this leads to over-boosting on some cars but for the track you are underboosted and this could help. You can also set the WG Duty IAT Comp. to something over 1.00 for temps over 100*F so that the ECU will already run a higher WGDC than commanded for the hot track temps.

Anyway, I wish you best of luck. I'm sure you can do it!

one run was on the spicy map, should have hit 22lbs...
temps were in the 50s=part of the traction problem.
almost an hour between runs.
best part of the night was a monte carlo with slicks, open headers and racing stickers all over it was 4-5 cars out on me when after i spun though 1st and 2nd, but i flew by him before the end like he was parked.

now let me ask you, are you able to hit 22 psi when your on the highway?

Every car responds differently in regards to WGDC. Its possible that your car requires more WGDC to hit 22 psi. Plus spicy tune is a pure boost tune so you rely on the WG Duty Boost Error Comp table and the spicy tune error comp is not very aggressive for the underboost side.

If you want to figure out whats going on, run your spicy tune map (i'm assuming you have the mods/fuel to do so) get a 4th gear log, then post it here. That will tell us a lot on why you weren't hitting 22psi.

the track is the only place i can get 112oct race fuel, its an hour away.
im going to play with some tuning this week.

your car just most likely needs more WGDC to hit those boost targets provided you had no boost leaks and everything was running fine

big changes for this year.
bought rims for slicks,
jmf intake,
ported head,
fullrace manifold,
k1s and wisecos, going in in the next week
putting the bnrs2 on(will go bigger later this summer)
new cpe catback,
adj rear konis,
and an e30 tune.
also in line for a permtune soon as I gets new pistons broken in.
3 port ebc and a 3.5 bar
