Default Harryclay's MIR results
So I was able to go to MIR this weekend for the last chance of the season to run the car. It was my first go at a 1/4 mile and the first time drag racing the car. Over 300 cars showed up so there was alot of waiting in between runs and only was able to get 3 runs in.

Mods:
Corksport sri/tip
2 gallons of e85 on half a tank of 93
tuned at 18.5 psi and 17* timing, 12.0 AFR
tires at 28psi

I had no idea what I was doing but I am pretty happy with the time. Cant wait till next year to give it a go again with a few more mods. I got a incar video but I still need to edit it and then ill post it.

EDIT: Video is now posted, turned out alittle shaky but ohwell. I am think I should have done alittle burnout to clean the tires off (lots of little rocks and what not stuck to the tires from all the rubber). Spun 1st gear pretty hard, need to work on my launch...

Great job for your first time. I havent bought the driver mod yet.. Only 3 runs and havent been that fast.. Hopefully in spring!

I have to give credit @rfinkle2 for the advise on my tune! Also I have a lot of respect for those of you will badass quarter miles times, that shit is deffinatly not as easy as it looks! It all happens so fast...

I like them both but I would probably say I like autocross more. It was really nice to get out of second gear and let it rip to the top of 4th. It was deffinatly a thrill and when you finish your first run you will think you just ran a 9 sec quarter because it felt so badass, then you see a car go the same time as you and your like wtf?! LOL

Haha, know that feeling. Great job though! And MIR is a great track to run on too! I can't wait to take mine down there next season after getting some mods set up.
