(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Track employee with my camera decided to stop the record somewhy ![]() But unlike the unicorn (and one known company not to be mentioned) I'll definately get back to the track and make some 'full' videos of new runs. So let me tell you the full story. As was told earlier, in October, 2010 I've managed to do three runs (12.85, 12.58 12.50) with my new 3076 setup which was the best known ET worlwide for that fall. The videos of two last runs are available in the corresponding thread (Mazda6 MPS 12.501 (October, 2010) - Mazdaspeed Forums). That was full interior car w some 1/2 of fuel tank, but the trunk was gutted (spare, carpet, jack). This year I've installed the Snow Performance water-methanol injection kit and raised the boost to average (for quarter mile run) 1.5 bar (22 psi). Also I've advanced the ignition a lot thanks to methanol. So yesterday I've stripped the car (jack, spare, carpet, back seat, passenger seat, console between front seats), filled 1/3 of fuel tank and dropped the WOT box no-lift-shift time from 325 ms to 225 ms. Then I've done and logged two runs on the road, observed noticeable dynamics improvement and decided to go to dragstrip. There I had time to do only one run unfortunately and its video is shown above. My run was the last in the whole session of event. So I am happy to improve my time by 0.49 sec with the first attempt. But I am disappointed simultaneously. Cause it lacked only 0.02 sec to break the 11 sec wall ! I believe it is my bad luck - my best time with my previous car (Nissan 200SX aka 240SX in the US) was 12.003 !!! Track and weather facts can be found in description of my youtube video. Cause it is 5.00 am at the clock already, not today but tomorrow I'll post my own OBD-II logs corresponding to all my runs (13.09, 12.85, 12.58, 12.50, 12.01) for comparison.

Now I understood that if I would hit 11.XX w/o evidence and post that here you'll just throw me away from the Forums ![]() So, as I told earlier, I'll definately do more runs and post the results with proofs. But since I've done this my first run this year I wanted to inform you about the result and MS6 platform potential with my setup. So let me return to the subject. TIMESLIP: Our dragstrip team doesn't print timeslips, LCD only. 60 FT: They don't install 60 ft sensors as well. As far as 1/8 mile ones. SPEED TRAP: 188 kmph (117 mph). I log every run with our own software through OBD-II port. Algorithm, accuracy and sampling rate are similar to Dashhawk and other CAN loggers. But accuracy depends on sampling rate. And sampling rate depends on qty of parameters being logged. In my logs sampling rate usually equals 4 Hz. And below is the assembly of logs of my runs: ![]() Speed in charts is measured in KMPH (1 KMPH = 0.62 MPH). I converted some to MPH right hand of the charts. 1) Stock turbo. Fully bolted except exhaust manifold. 1.32 bar (19 psi) spike, 1.15 bar (17 psi) hold. 2) GT3076R. 93 pump gas. 1.25 bar (18 psi) spike, 1.1 bar (16 psi) hold. 3) GT3076R. 93 pump gas. 1.34 bar (19 psi) spike, 1.2 bar (17 psi) hold. 4) GT3076R. 93 pump gas. 1.37 bar (20 psi) spike, 1.25 bar (18 psi) hold. 5) GT3076R. 93 pump gas. Water-methanol injection. Test on slightly uphill public road before driving to dragstrip and run number 6. 1.6 bar (23 psi) spike, 1.5 bar (22 psi) hold. 6) GT3076R. 93 pump gas. Water-methanol injection. 1.55 bar (22 psi) spike, 1.5 bar (22 psi) hold. Since sometimes I hit 60 kmph in wheelspin, times up to 0-70 kmph sometimes don't show real dynamics, but traction and launch power. In the fifth run I've finished at 4th gear with 0-180 kmph = 10.656 sec In the sixth run I've finished at 5th gear with 0-180 kmph = 11.104 sec So I feel no sense to shift-up to 5th gear until the 4th gear would be maxed out.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Do you make me apologize the third time ? No timeslip or proof on clock = it didn't happen. I agree. Let the 12.24 be the best MS6 time tor today, no problem. As far as you all can see, I didn't edit my signature or else cause no proof ! Unlike 'famous 12.00 time MS3 owner' I won't photoshop any timeslip cause I have no real one and won't cheat you. Just wait a while and I'll make new run(s) with full video including proof on clock. With this thread I just wanted to share my observations with other guys on the MSF that are hunting for 11 seconds. I hope my logs would be some kind useful for somebody. Guys, what 60 ft time have I hit in that run on the video, on your opinion ?
