So since it's winter time (at least here in the midwest/northeast) and since I'm therefore bored and can't drive my car, I figured I'd get a little discussion going to see who everyone thinks will be the.... Here's how I see the factors breaking down... Seat time/driver mod (correct me if I'm wrong) 1.Lumberjack and Voltron 2.NJSPEED3 3.Papasmurf 4.Me Power potential (uncorrected) 1.NJSPEED3 2.Me 3.Papasmurf and Lumberjack 4. Voltron Location(altitude) 1. Everyone not at 5500ft asl lol 2. Papasmurf Location (weather) 1.Lumberjack 2.Papasmurf 3.NJSPEED3 and Voltron 4.Me Then with all that said I think only my car and Gerry's are running at the moment... and we're two of the three who have shitty weather for a while still. I see Lumberjack hitting 10's first since he should have the first chance and has the most seat time, then I see Gerry ending up quickest/fastest for the year, the rest are all a toss up to me right now, but overall I think everyone I mentioned will get it this year at some point honestly. |
Im just talking shit. Kinda lol. But i agree with Nishan and Realgib. Its cool to see the platform grow, and see more and more people go big turbo and drag race. Speeds have been underdogs too long and relatively unknowns in the import drag racing world. 2014 will be interesting. Our Viber #HAR chatroom have been discussing more ways to go faster of late. In all honesty, i shouldn't even be a part of this thread. I just haz a wee little 3076 and 2 mef nozzles to play with. |
I think Bryce ends up overall winner based on a few factors. Seat time is by far the most important. The ability to launch a FWD car with serious HP is something not many can do. Also, the mental readiness is huge also. Being consistent and hitting all your gears in a high hp car while fighting to keep it straight is no joke. Those gears end real fast. And in talking with Bryce, he understands the other dynamics that come with a well balanced car. You can have all the power you want, but if your suspension is sub par, youre losing time. There are other factors that we talk about but..... #HAR lolololololol |
